About Cornerstone Franciscan Family Services

Rooted in compassion. Committed to results.

Cornerstone Franciscan Family Services is a program of Cornerstone Franciscan Ministries, focused on preventing eviction and fostering long-term housing stability for families in Baltimore County. Since 2009, Cornerstone has supported thousands of families through housing crises—connecting them to resources, helping them regain stability, and walking alongside them toward greater self-sufficiency.

We approach every family with respect and care, tailoring our support to meet real needs and real goals. While Cornerstone has its roots in faith-based organizations, it is today a 501(c)3 non-profit—open to all, grounded in dignity, and committed to long-term impact.

Our Mission

At Cornerstone Franciscan Family Services, we are dedicated to preventing eviction and stabilizing housing for individuals and families in crisis. Our comprehensive approach addresses underlying issues such as underemployment, limited access to education, and generational poverty. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home, and we strive to make this a reality through our multifaceted services.

Our Vision

We envision a community where:

  • A child never has to see their family belongings thrown out on the curb;

  • Families who lived in fear of homelessness are celebrating their independence and helping others;

  • Families have shifted from just surviving to flourishing.

Our Team

Our work is led by a team of dedicated professionals with deep experience in housing systems, case management, and family-centered support. Every team member brings empathy, accountability, and a commitment to helping families build long-term stability.
